Silves Walk

2 hours – 1 to 20 guests

Join me for a friendly visit of the medieval town where I live. Silves has a picturesque setting and an interesting story to tell us about past civilizations. Our walk gives an overview of the main sights and a taste of the little streets.

We meet at the river and go up to the castle. We pass the Roman bridge, the docks, the market, the town square, the town hall and the city walls. We enter the cathedral for a brief visit (2€ entrance fee). We will also visit the back streets and I will show some hidden secrets.

Our visit ends at the top of the town next to the castle. From here you can visit the castle by yourself or have an easy walk back down to the meeting point. You may also decide to have a meal or stay in Silves a little longer.

The price depends on how many guests are in your group and does not include entrance tickets (Cathedral : 2 €) which are purchased on site. If you are a large group please contact me for a quote.
