Hello, I am Thyl (pronounced “Teel”)  the creator of Silvestours and your guide and driver. I enjoy guiding small groups on a personal scale. I research original itineraries looking for beautiful landscapes that are hard to find. I love meeting new people and sharing my local knowledge.  I am a painter as well as a nature and history enthusiast.

Meeting Point

 

Outside the entrance of Restaurant “Ponte Romana”.

If you come by foot from Silves it is on the other side of the pedestrian bridge “Ponte Romana”.

If you come by car this is an easy place to park. From the highway or from Lagoa, you will descend a hill down to Silves. At the top of the hill, there is a small tunnel. You can turn left 750 meters after the tunnel, opposite a pet and garden shop, and  park your car.
